Printing is ink on paper. Whenever we can use inks and paper that are more eco-friendly we're helping the environment. At DES Printing we specify and routinely use on a day-to-day basis paper stocks and inks that are considerate of the environment. We use: FSC certified paper, paper manufactured using wind power, papers that made using carbon neutral offsets that lessen pollutants, that are Chlorine free, elemental chlorine free, acid free, PH neutral, and made with post consumer waste. Whatever we can do to safeguard our natural resources and help protect of the world's forests we're for it.

Printing inks matter as well. DES Printing has worked with many ink suppliers over the years to develop the best blend for our needs. The inks we have chosen are environmentally compatible inks formulated with renewable vegetable oils. Faithful color reproduction and smooth ink transfer are standout characteristics of the many formulations in the Ink we use. In addition to the beautiful printability of the inks they also produce very low VOC's and can carry the Soy Ink ICON / Logo designation should you wish.
